Bullshit. Pick up a copy of Chef John Currance's Pigs, Pickles, and Whiskey: My Three Favorite Food Groups, and there you will find the world's second best chicken salad (second after mine, which is based on his recipe).

I used to make this out at the country club I cheffed for years ago. It was a favorite! I’ve used turkey after Christmas, used pecans sometimes. I bake all of our bread and this amazing salad goes well on thick slices of King Arthur flours “ favorite sandwich bread” recipe. Yum!

My MIL used to make this for the 4th of July, except used pecans instead of almonds. This is pretty yummy. I also like to eat it on crackers with a tiny bit of wasabi.

Just try it, then critique it ! It is good , but I like mine better.... I have the 'just like' Arby's chicken salad recipe! And Anastasia.... you can substitute the grapes for chopped apples ( which I prefer) ' or cranberries! Girl!... just add your own flare to it !!! It will be good !

I made this chicken salad for a cookout. Instead of using bone-in chicken, I baked some boneless/skinless chicken breasts. And it was still incredible! I added 1/4 cup more of mayonnaise and another tablespoon of Dijon mustard. Wonderful!

This is why we have lots of different recipes. Because we don't all like the same things. And most times we don't have all the ingredients. 😉

I made this for a baby shower and it was absolutely delicious - only thing I did differently was roasted almonds

Made as directed but I had no fresh dill. Even without, it was delicious . The Dijon was a great addition .
